Confessing our Weakness

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty,
who was and is and is to come...

Precious Father,
As we come before you this day, we confess our sinfulness and our weakness to You. We pray that you would forgive our sins and our fears. Lord, help us to so completely trust You that we are willing to relinquish all the other gods and idols that we nurse and cherish in our lives. Lord, sometimes we are so afraid to let go because we are afraid You will say "no" to our hearts' deepest desires. Please help us to believe in the depths of our hearts that You are for us in all things.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
